“When we first got engaged and started thinking about our Wedding, Chartier was the first thing that came to our mind. Not only did we want the best food for our wedding, but we also wanted to support our friends, and an amazing local business. They were our first call! Once Chartier was in, we went to a great venue – the Old Red Barn – who we knew worked with Chartier, and the rest was history!
Every step of the way, the Chartier team was amazing. From the initial conversation where they asked us about us, what we wanted, our fav foods. The smallest detail we mentioned at that time, we saw reflected on in our wedding day (I mean, chocolate drizzled salt and vinegar chips!). Chartier not only worked with our budget, and our vision - but they gave us great advice on service, and dinner flow. When it came to the tasting, we felt so taken care of, and honestly spoiled. They asked us to invite some family, and made the tasting fun – and so easy for us!
We can’t say enough about how amazing the team was throughout the wedding. I think every guest complimented us on the food, the service, the presentation – and many have gone back to Chartier after just to experience it again. Our bakery bar was certainly a hit, with people walking past it rubbing their bellies and saying “Did you try that crème brule - OMG”. Our late night, fire baked pizzas are something we still hear about. The food was truly more that 5 star, but so was the service, and our entire experience.
When you think about Weddings, you don’t always remember the décor, or the music – but you absolutely remember the food. We cannot thank Chartier enough for all they did for us, and for making the best day of our lives amazing, and so easy and stress free.

“ When we began wedding planning we determined very early on that one of the most important aspects of our day would be the meal we shared with our most special people. When we sat down with the Chartier team and discussed the catering experience they could provide, it was without a doubt the experience we wanted to give to our guests. From start to finish, the journey with Chartier was an enjoyable one.
They were responsive, creative, and really worked with us to build out a menu that would meet all of our needs. The team that supported on our wedding day were professional, friendly, organized, and ensured that there was nothing either myself or my husband had to worry about throughout the evening.
Working with Chartier, we were able to create an entirely gluten free menu and provide dining experiences for our guests who had severe allergies with the complete confidence that they would be served an incredible meal that met their dietary needs. Though there were many aspects of our wedding day that were truly so incredible, looking back, the food is definitely a stand out for us (we still dream about the watermelon and feta salad).
We have had many of our guests to tell us that it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had and were excited to plan their next opportunity to dine with Chartier. The ability to offer our guests a meal that is locally sourced, catered to allergens, and supported a FANTASTIC locally owned restaurant was truly such a bonus to an already special moment in our lives. I wish we had photos of the meal to look back on, but I really think it all went too quickly to have it properly documented!
