The backstory
Last fall, our dear friends at Eighty Eight brewing approached us with the idea of doing a collaboration beer - something that combined the essence of Chartier with incredible beer from Eighty Eight. The result?
Sugar Shack - a Bourbon Maple Pecan Brownie Stout, inspired by one of our top selling bakery treats.
It was delicious AF, and it wasn’t long before the small batch collab was completely sold out. Thankfully, Eighty Eight asked if we could partner again for the 2022 holiday season - and we jumped on the opportunity to get creative.
This year, we pulled inspiration from one of our favourite acadian desserts, Blueberry Grunt. It’s the East Coast version of a blueberry cobbler with a soft, vanilla cake-biscuit hybrid baked into it. Thirsty yet?
