Here you’ll find all the instructions you need to bake your own delicious sourdough. The starter (also known as the mother) is a natural probiotic culture that we’ve kept alive for over 5 years - and can be split off and shared with friends and family. 

We ask that if you would like some of our Mother starter at Chartier to simply give us a call at least 2 days in advance at (780) 737-3633 and we’ll gladly set some aside for you!

Sharing this recipe for bread is sharing a little piece of Beaumont for you in your community, and we hope that as you break bread with your loved ones you feel the spirit that we’re sending it with; a spirit of love, connection, and respect.

Introducing the Canoe Trip - a six course tasting menu designed for those who like to try "a little bit of everything" when they go out for a special meal.

The Chartier Canoe trip is a culinary journey through seasonal ingredients & Alberta producers. This experience will introduce you to the trusted farmers & artisans we work with + the Chartier story + the technique and inspiration behind the dishes on (and off) our menu.

The cost is $85/person + GST and gratuity, with drink pairings available for an additional $40. Non-alcoholic drink pairings are also available, as well as partial drink pairings (3 pairings instead of 6).

All you have to do is sit back, relax, & enjoy your evening as we guide you through "the best of Chartier".

Join us on Thursday, April 20th as we celebrate the tart, tangy, and colourful world of greenhouse tomatoes.

Chef Tamara Solon will be presenting four courses, each one featuring a variety of greenhouse tomatoes from Doef's Greenhouse and Gull Valley Greenhouse.

The cost is $75/person + GST & gratuity, with optional drink pairings available.

Join us on Thursday, March 9th as we celebrate one of our favourite ingredients; Alberta beef from our friends at Redtail Farms.

Chef Tamara Solon will be presenting four courses, each one featuring Redtail's intensely flavoured, grass fed & finished beef from their herd of Luing cattle in Castor, Alberta. The cost is $85/person + GST & gratuity.

Husband and wife farming duo Ian and Dana Griebel will be on site to answer questions, sample, and educate on the importance of farming while looking seven generations forward.

We're switching things up a wee bit this month, combining your favourite Sunday Spirit Club with St Patrick's Day - celebrating the heritage and culture of the Irish via great food and even better whiskey ;)

Join us on Sunday, March 19th from 4pm-6pm! We're excited to taste and four incredible Irish Whiskeys handpicked by writer/podcaster Sean Kincaid from Dark Cloud Whisky.

You will be greeted with a reception cocktail followed by a tasting of each whiskey paired to a small bite of Irish fare created by Chef Tamara Solon, highlighting each spirit's unique flavour profile and character.

Some would argue that BRUNCH is the 6th love language - and if that’s you, we have the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

We’re opening up on Tuesday, February 14th for a special 3 course set menu, all entered around one of our favourite ingredients; garlic.

Course one is a shared appetizer, course two is a choice of main for each person, and course three is a shared dessert board.

The cost is $90/couple + GST & Gratuity, with 1.5 hour seatings available at 12:00, 12:15, 12:30.

Join us on Sunday, February 26th from 4pm-6pm as we reconnect for everyone's favourite monthly event - SPIRIT CLUB! We're excited to taste and pair three spirits from the Taylor Fladgate portfolio, one of the oldest founding port houses.

You will be greeted with a reception cocktail, followed by a tasting of each scotch paired to a small bite created by Chef Tamara Solon that highlights each one’s unique flavour profile and character.

Join us on Thursday, February 9th as we welcome Cabin Brewing Company to Chartier for the very first time!

Cabin's beer is designed to be fresh, flavourful, complex and hop-centric. Their general approach is to take the best of classic styles and elevate them through craftsmanship and an uninhibited drive for innovation into something that is one-of-a-kind.

We're tapping their 3.8% ABV Simple Pleasures English Dark Mild cask infused with cloves and a touch of star anise at 5pm, and serving until it's gone (so come early!)

Reservations suggested, but walk-ins are always welcome! Hope we see you on February 9th!
